Inphonite Announces End Of Life for RouteView Call Center

Inphonite announces the end of life of RouteView Call Center.
The last day to order RouteView Call Center was October 22, 2009.
Maintenance releases and software fixes will no longer be available
as of May 1, 2012. Customers under a maintenance contract will
continue to receive support from Inphonite Technical Support until
that date. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones,
definitions, and dates for this release. Customers using RouteView
Call Center are strongly encouraged to upgrade to
InphoniteVoice.

- End of Life (EOL):
A process that guides the final business operations associated
with the product life cycle. The end-of-life process consists of a
series of technical and business milestones and activities that,
once completed, make a product obsolete. Once obsolete, the product
is not sold, manufactured, improved, repaired, maintained, or
supported.
- End of Sale/Last Ship Date (EOS):
The last date to order and ship the product/version. The product
is no longer offered for sale and Inphonite ceases to ship a
specific version of a software product as indicated in the EOL
announcement issued by Inphonite. This EOS is three months after
the release of a new version of the product.
- End of Service Life (EOSL) Date:
The date Inphonite ceases to provide services for a Software
Product under a maintenance contract or per incident request.
Accounting for business days, this date is one year following the
EOL announcement.

What versions are entering EOL?
Effective May 2, 2011 RouteView Call Center will enter the End of
Life (EOL) process.
What are the EOL dates?
Inphonite announced the EOL date for RouteView Call Center on May
2, 2011. As of May 2, 2011 customers will have 12 months to move to
higher supported versions of Inphonite Products. Effective May 1,
2012 Inphonite will no longer offer technical nor other support for
RouteView Call Center.
What are the key benefits of moving to a newer

What is the impact on other Inphonite
Products?
All other products that have not gone through the EOL process are

I've recently purchased support for my RouteView Call
Center program. If I upgrade to InphoniteVoice R2 do I need to
re-purchase support?
No, you will only need to re-purchase support when your contract
for RouteView Call Center expires.
