Sending Appointment Reminders via Twitter

InphoniteVoice Feature of the Week

In addition to sending appointment reminders via phone, email and SMS text, InphoniteVoice also allows you to send an appointment reminder as a private tweet in Twitter. A private tweet is called a direct message.

You cannot send a direct message to a user who is not following you. Instead, the initial tweet should be an invitation to follow you. No private information should be included in such a tweet as it is public.

Twitter account information must be saved in InphoniteVoice for each customer you will send tweets to. This information may be entered manually, or imported from your scheduling software or a spreadsheet.

Some Twitter users receive tweets on their mobile phones. Depending upon their mobile plan, some of these users may be charged to receive SMS/text messages or tweets.
