Duties

  • Enter and handle support tickets (using email, telephone & remote connect)

    • Build rapport with customers to give them “warm fuzzies”

    • Fix their technical issues with our proprietary products

    • Implement / Set-up customers with Inphonite products and services

    • Enter feature requests

    • Confer with Management and Team regarding “hot” cases

    • Participate in Department and Corporate Meetings, including discussing open cases, staff trainings, recaps, etc

  • Quality Assurance testing

    • Test new builds, new products and new features

    • Replicate bugs and enter bug reports

On a Day to Day Basis

After training you will become used to logging in, grabbing coffee or breakfast while catching up on email and reviewing the technical support queues. From there you will work existing cases and new ones as they come in. You will need to think on your feet to figure out how to apply a fix for each individual issue. There is no “one size fits all.” You will confer with colleagues as needed. While working you will be calling customers and walking them through options, and sometimes implementing server-side changes. Very often you will be drafting emails outlining things for our customers and Partners so they understand how you will, or already did handle things.

This is a mostly sedentary position, though we do encourage all team members to take breaks or go for walks. Occasionally we will play darts or have nerf-gun wars. Additionally, we are right next to Golf-n-Stuff, so sometimes we’ll head over there for a little team building fun.
